Styrolution now Ineos Styrolution

22.01.2016 -

Styrolution, the former styrenic polymers joint venture of BASF and Ineos, acquired in full by Ineos at the end of 2014, is changing its name to Ineos Styrolution to reflect its new ownership. Ineos said the name change, which is being rolled out in stages globally, will make the company’s ownership more transparent but allow it to retain its own identity. Styrolution was carved out of BASF in 2010 and merged with the Ineos business a year later.

Kevin McQuade, CEO of Ineos Styrolution, said the company’s business strategy will remain unaffected by the name change, especially as regards its Triple Shift growth strategy launched three years ago to focus on higher-growth industries, styrenics specialities and standard ABS, along with emerging markets.
