UK-based distributor Swan Chemical (SCI) a wholly owned subsidiary of Thomas Swan & Co, has agreed with compatriot Robinson Brothers to globally market that company’s Robac Technology products, extending its offerings in rubber masterbatch and additives. The range includes rubber additive solutions to meet heightened regulatory demands in terms of health, safety and environmental protection.

SCI is regarded as a leading manufacturer of black masterbatch as well as a full service distributor of rubber products including accelerators, waxes, blowing agents, batch inclusion bags and other specialty chemicals in North America. It also offers what it says is a “wide range of Performance Chemicals” into multiple markets.  The company said its newest agreement is part of a continued drive to grow its market presence in rubber additives across North America.

Adrian Hanrahan, managing director of Robinson Brothers, said that as the US continues to be a growth market for Robac Technology, its partnership with SCI  will allow it  to enhance the its brand and product portfolio across this territory. While adding new customers through SCI's strong distribution network, he said the company will also continue to support and build on its relationships with existing customers.  Harry Swan, managing director of Thomas Swan, said the Robac Technology product range will complement his company’s wider rubber additive portfolio.
