Vynova Alkoxides Awards Engineering Contract for New Plant

Vynova Alkoxides GmbH is beginning the construction of a new alcoholates plant at Chemiepark Lülsdorf GmbH in Lülsdorf, Germany.

Vynova Alkoxides GmbH is beginning the construction of a new alcoholates plant at Chemiepark Lülsdorf GmbH in Lülsdorf, Germany. An external engineering company has been contracted to complete the basic design by the summer.

The company plans to invest in facilities for producing sodium and potassium methylate, as well as sodium ethylate. This contract is a crucial step towards commissioning the plant in autumn 2027 and ensuring the continued supply of alcoholates from Lülsdorf, even after the current mercury electrolysis-based production is phased out.

Vynova Alkoxides GmbH was founded in January 2024 and is part of the International Chemical Investors Group. It will operate the newly planned alcoholates plant at the Lülsdorf Chemical Park.
