Craig Arnold Appointed to Borealis Management Board

07.12.2023 - The Supervisory Board of Borealis has appointed Craig Arnold as the new Executive Board member for Polyolefins, Circular Economy Solutions, and Innovation & Technology effective Feb. 1, 2024. Arnold will also succeed Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder as a member of the Management Board in this position. Foufopoulos-De Ridder announced her intention to leave Borealis at the end of September.

Craig Arnold is currently the CCO at Ferroglobe PLC in Madrid, Spain. Before this appointment, he had a long-standing career at Dow Inc., where he held various senior management roles, including  President of Dow Australia & New Zealand. He has also served on many industry associations and academic and government-related bodies. He has an educational background in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Thomas Gangl, Borealis CEO, will assume responsibility for the Polyolefins, Circular Economy Solutions and Innovation & Technology segment on an interim basis effective Jan. 1, 2024, until Craig Arnold will resume his role as Borealis Executive Board Member.
